Brittany L. Chiechi, she/her/hers

Brittany Chiechi (pronounced key-A-key) is originally from Philadelphia, but has lived in Seattle since 2003.  She completed her undergraduate degree in Law, Societies, and Justice from the University of Washington, earning a Certificate of High Scholarship.  After completing her BA, she went on to attend Seattle University School of Law.

During law school, Britt interned at the Washington State Attorney General’s Office in the Torts Division and at the ACLU of Washington, in addition to working as a Rule 9 legal intern for the Youth Advocacy Clinic defending indigent juvenile offenders.  She also enjoyed advocating on behalf of individuals experiencing homelessness as a member of the Homeless Rights Advocacy Project and authored a brief that was published in May 2018.  Britt received the Presidential Scholarship and graduated cum laude.

Brittany brings with her a wealth of life experiences informing her and motivating her. She grew up in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. She loves her pizza fries, cheese wiz, and cheese steaks. Ask her to say water and you will hear a bit of that Philly flare come out.

In her spare time, Brittany enjoys spending time with her son, friends, family and, traveling to see family, watching Rupaul’s Drag Race, and eating burritos. Lots of Burritos.
